New Express Ticket App

The Woodlands Township has officially launched WE TIX, the new ticketing app for The Woodlands Express. Designed to simplify the rider experience, WE TIX brings ticket purchasing, trip planning and real time bus tracking together in one secure and easy to use platform.

As of January 1, WE TIX is now the only ticketing app available for Woodlands Express service. The previous app has been discontinued, and all riders are encouraged to ensure they have successfully transitioned to avoid any interruption in service.

To make the switch as seamless as possible, riders should create their WE TIX account using the same email address previously used. This helps ensure any remaining tickets are properly transferred to the new system.

Getting started is simple. Riders can download WE TIX from the Apple Store or Google Play, create an account or log in with an existing email and add a payment method or funds to their wallet. Tickets can be purchased and activated directly within the app before boarding.

In addition to mobile ticketing, WE TIX offers built in tools to enhance the commuting experience. Riders can plan their trip and track their bus in real time using the in app map, providing greater confidence and convenience when traveling to and from Houston.

WE TIX represents an important step forward in modernizing transit services in The Woodlands, offering a more connected and user friendly way to ride The Woodlands Express.
