Woodlands Express Passenger Notice

Temporary Bus Stop Relocation for Texas Medical Center/Michael E. DeBakey VA Medical Center

Beginning Monday, August 3, 2026, the Woodlands Express stop at the Michael E. DeBakey VA Medical Center will be temporarily relocated due to construction at the VA campus.

WHAT IS CHANGING?

The current stop on Mixon Avenue (Entrance 70) will be closed for construction.
The temporary bus stop location will be on South Lee Street adjacent to Lot P.
Woodlands Express buses will enter the VA campus through Almeda Road (Entrance 71).
This temporary stop is expected to remain in effect for approximately 10 weeks, subject to construction progress.

Please note: The Ringness @ Café Terrace stop on the VA campus will not be affected by the construction.

WHAT SHOULD PASSENGERS DO:

Please use the temporary stop on South Lee Street adjacent to Lot P for all boarding and exiting at the VA Medical Center beginning August 3.
Allow extra time for travel during the initial days of the traffic-pattern change.
